Model definitions to identify appropriate benchmarks in judiciary

In this manuscript we present a comparative analysis of benchmarks based on technical efficiency scores computed using Data Envelopment Analysis with two different model specifications. one case, adopt the number settled cases as output and human resources input; in other same definition but judicial expenditure additional key input. Our findings show that specification containing both is more appropriate than only resources. Moreover, that, without considering variable costs generated within production process, those courts incorrectly identified might mislead policy makers dealing reform process.
